PRICES & FAQ

I recommend a no obligation 15 minute consultation call prior to attending Counselling sessions. This gives you the opportunity to see if we would work well together and ask any questions you may have.

Sessions are £55 for 50 minutes. I do offer a few low cost therapy sessions to Student’s and those on a low income. Please contact me for more information.

WHERE DO WE MEET?

I offer Counselling face to face from my office in South Manchester, Ashton upon Mersey, Sale, M33. I also offer sessions via Zoom online and over the telephone This gives you the opportunity to access Counselling when it’s most convenient for you.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN OUR FIRST SESSION TOGETHER?

We will go through the contract to ensure you understand the agreement and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions.  I will explain boundaries and confidentiality and we will also talk about what has brought you to counselling and what your goals/desired outcomes may be.

Each session we will build on our therapeutic relationship, I will listen and support you throughout your sessions and I’ll help you to understand on a deeper level why you feel the way you do.

It’s important to remember that you don’t have to talk about anything that you don’t want to, this is your process and you can take your time.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Initially I suggest we work together for 6 sessions. You may need more or less sessions dependent on your needs, I will be led by you. Some client’s may only need a few sessions whilst other client’s with difficult challenges or trauma’s require longer. Counselling sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly at the same time to promote consistency. However I can be flexible with sessions if I have availability.

HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER MY SESSION?

Each client will experience different things after their counselling session as each client is unique. You might feel relieved or happy to have shared something that has been bothering you for so long. You may also feel exhausted/overwhelmed if you have found the session difficult. Counselling can bring up deep rooted feelings and it might be hard at times, it’s important to share how you feel so I can support you in the process.
